Lots of awesome vendors, not all take card so make sure to bring cash or check out the Food Cash near the entrance. The fruit is fresh and tasty, especially the mango vendor near the back with this massive sign with all the mango varieties. Lots of parking, $2 per vehicle entry fee. There’s areas to sit and eat which are shaded but they’re on the opposite side of the food markers which is strategic to get people to buy more but also pesky if you’re walking with lots of food.
Great local farmers market, my sister took me there, great produce and vendors, couple take out food places were ok, portions were small compared to some others, have to get there early Sunday parking can be crowded, coconut guy was great delicious, also mango guy there sweetest mango only got one variety, got a jar of 🐐 cheese to bring back to mainland, his stuff us good, got Chinese food at beginning if stall market, was ok, was just to taste, portion was small, anyways overall was a good market..
I had some food from a lady vendor with no name on her tent. It was delicious! I have no idea what I ate, but she mentioned it was some sort of pork.
The noodles were also amazing. They were like soft and chewy with lots of flavor.
My wife had an açaí bowl and coconut water which she loved.
Cool place for locals to get produce and for tourists to get all of their souvenirs. I like the shave ice place, fresh mushroom stand, lemonade stand and the food stands. All are so worth it. While most vendors take card here, it's good to carry some cash as some food places are cash only. The only bad thing is that they close at noon, my only complaint. I like the environment as it's very relaxed and there is a lot going on.
This is a weekly farmers in Kea'au. It is only open on Sunday 7am to 12pm. There are vendors selling a wide variety of fruits and vegetables, handicrafts, plants, clothing and food. This is a great place to grab a bite to eat at one of the food vendors or find locally grown produce. It is definitely worth a stop on a Sunday morning. There is easy access to a large parking lot. There is a small entrance fee.
Well organized, clean, and friendly atmosphere. Nice selection of produce and crafts. Food for lunch & breakfast is also available. Parking is $2 per vehicle.
Serving local grindz at very affordable prizes and several local farms offering honeys, veggies, and baked goods. Local artists from jewelry to art work. Also plants of all types of fruits, flowers, herbs, and veggies. Vendors and visitors are very friendly and genuine. Really grateful we went there ❤️
Biggest farmer’s market in the Puna district. It was fun and interesting. Meeting new people and vendors are pretty friendly.
There is a $2 fee upon entering for parking. Bathrooms are well maintained and it’s a pretty a nice place for a farmer’s market.
An important thing to note, this is a shop-and-go event as Covid is still out there so please follow that straight forward instruction! Most vendors accepts cash only so bring extra cash with you.
